So, in true after-book club fashion, Heather discovered an amazing gem of Seattle today at the Queen Anne Bookstore in the Map of Public Stairs of Queen Anne Hill. And, in true DORK fashion, I suggested we climb all of them and cross them off the map as we went along. I think Heather and Sarah were just humoring me (ok, I know they were, especially for the picture portion of the afternoon)...but we started today and got 6 stairs crossed off the map. We started (after eating a 2:57pm breakfast at the 5-Spot) with #472 at the corner of Queen Anne Ave. and Galer St., walked up the street to hit #79 (apparently great for kissing, says the map, but we just found a pink-haired, napping lady who wanted us to spot her as she came down from a tree-"getting down is harder than getting up"-and then talk our ear off). We then walked #s 318, 325, 331, and 334 to finish off the afternoon. Please note some of the Yen Lui/Senior pic poses. :)
